Nirvana vs. Stone Temple Pilots-Day 4

After Weezer took a beating from rock legend Boston (5-2), it's time to enter a true battle of grudge rock. Nirvana, the ultimate founders of grudge rock in the 90s, will face off a band you formed quickly after Nirvana hit the music scene, Stone Temple Pilots. Although Nirvana is certainly more well known than STP, both fall upon the title of top bands of the 90s. Unfortunately both met the same fate in disbandment, both due to different reasons of course. Although both bands' legacies have lived on past both original groups. Dave Grohl, Nirvana's drummer, went to form of today's best modern rock bands, the Foo Fighters. As for STP, frontman Scott Weiland collaborated with guitar legend Slash to form supergroup Velvet Revolver. On a good note, STP will have a reunion tour in 2008 which will rejoin the band after nearly 6 years. Will Nirvana's legacy be enough for them to take the crown, or will STP pull off the upset?
