Audioslave vs. Smashing Pumpkins-Day 11

After a nailbiter between Soundgarden and Linkin Park, with the former coming victorious, we pit a rock supergroup of the 00s versus an alternative rock group out of the 90s. After Rage Against the Machine split up in the early 00s and leader singer Zack de la Rocha went to do some solo work, the rest of the band came upon Chris Cornell, former Soundgarden singer. Putting together the strong vocals of Chris Cornell and the instrumentalists of Rage formed a brand new supergroup. Although the band only lasted 3 albums, they produced a wide range of hit songs, driven by Cornell's lyrics and Morello's guitar solos. On the other band we have the Smashing Pumpkins, who started out during the grunge era. However, they have seemed to change their style over their last few albums. This should be an interesting matchup...check it out in the side bar!
